Full: Rise of the Runelords [Pathfinder RPG ("D&D 3.75")]

Rise of the Runelords

Frequency: "Sort of weekly" kind of way.

6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Books:
Pathfinder RPG Core rulebook + Paizo supplements

8 players (full)

Campaign: Currently Lvl 2.
Frontier town / Wilderness / Dungeon.

Sixth and forthcoming session: After sorting out the fate of the
Quasit Erylium, the party is exploring the remainder of the Catacombs of
Wrath.

Background:
The town Sandpoint is a relatively young coastal town in Varisia, it
concerns itself mainly with farming and a bit of lumber. It is fairly
developed with many businesses, inns, taverns and even local artists of
renown. Sandpoint has just had a partially cancelled festival for the
consecration of the new cathedral, the event having been disturbed by a
strange Goblin raid. Goblins as it turns out were merely tools for greater
evils: An Aasimar wanting to turn into a Demon, something called
Malfeshnekor, and a currently under exploration ancient-beyond-reckoning
underground complex partially dedicated to Lamashtu.

Setting:
The world of Golarion ("Pathfinder Chronicles") from Paizo
publishing.

You may pick-up the PDF of the player's guide for free. You need to open an
account (free) with Paizo, add it to your basket. It will then appear in the
"Your Download" section.
This resource provides information about Sandpoint and feats for the
campaign.

New players:
We are now "FULL".
Check every now and then as life matters may lead to futures openings. If,
or when, it happens a recruiting thread will appear on the boards.

The entangle spell was badly interpreted. I shall post a thread later in the day or tonigjt about it: interpretation of foes, saves etc. It still is a powerful spell but not that silly. The problem never arised in 3.5 by the way.

Five players coming for tonight, the game is on.

Who attended?

  • 6 attendees
    •  Got lots done and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves - everyone is starting to get the hang of the Pathfinder rules, which is good.

Now just you wait when the GM produces a Druid to fight!
