Rise of the Runelords (1/6) Burnt Offerings

Frequency: Weekly

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Books:
Pathfinder RPG Core rulebook + Paizo supplements

Players: 8 players (full)

Party level Currently Lvl 2.

Adventure: "Burnt Offerings"
Frontier town / Wilderness / Dungeon.

Seventh and forthcoming session:
Getting through the last stretch of the Nettlewoods and reach the Goblin lair of Thistletop.

Background:
The town of Sandpoint is a relatively new coastal town in Varisia, it
concerns itself mainly with farming and a bit of lumber. It is fairly
developed with many businesses, inns, taverns and even local artists of
renown. Sandpoint has just had a partially cancelled festival for the
consecration of the new cathedral, the event having been disturbed by a
strange Goblin raid. Goblins as it turns out were merely tools for greater
evils: An Aasimar wanting to turn herself into a Demon, something called
Malfeshnekor, some ancient ruins under the town and now the party has reached Thistletop, the lair
of the most powerful Goblin tribes in the vicinity.

Setting:
The world of Golarion ("Pathfinder Chronicles") from Paizo
publishing.

You may pick-up the PDF of the player's guide for free. You need to open an
account (free) with Paizo, add it to your basket. It will then appear in the
"Your Download" section.
This resource provides information about Sandpoint and feats for the
campaign.

I should be on time, but there is a slight chance I could be late. See my post on the game thread.

Looks like we have enough people for a game.

Who attended?

  • 6 attendees
    •  Satisfying enough session - quite a large fight, which - despite our own best efforts - we managed to survive! Interesting about the rift in the goblins ranks - the joys of not slaughtering everything you come across! Mind you - that very expensive bead flying round his head is worth (according to Ginga) something like 20,000 so we might call in there on the way back?
    •  Good Lord the players are slow to act! They are going to find those pairs of magical anklets if it carries on like this. :)
