We only have the Boardroom at the Brunswick this month, (Upstairs at the back) and therefore we have to find space for games. The Boardroom can only take one large or two small & quiet games.

So I am thinking of organising a national one-day RPG convention at the Derby Assembly Rooms in July/August 2009. Running times will be 10:00 AM until midnight and the event will either be on a Saturday or Sunday. There will be various role-playing and board games running, national and local traders, RPG-related events plus the chance to socialise with some of the UK role playing community. Exact details and dates will be sorted over the next few months but I was wondering what people thought and would anyone attend from the EMD&DMUG? It would be a chance to not only put Derby on the map but to increase the exposure of the Meet Up group. So what do you think?
